6922 (2024). Hon Dr Megan Woods to the Minister for Energy: further to WPQ4428(2024) how many contractors and casual staff were carrying out work for the Energy and Resources Markets branch at 1 December 2023, 1 January 2024, 1 February 2024, 1 March 2024, 28 March 2024?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that the number of contractors in scope of your question are as follows. No casual staff were in scope of your question: 1 December 2023 - 5 (Energy and Resource Branch) 1 January 2024 - 4 (Energy and Resource Branch) 1 February 2024 - 0 (Energy Markets Branch)* 1 March 2024 - 0 (Energy Markets Branch) 28 March 2024 - 0 (Energy Markets Branch) *from 15 January 2024, organisational changes were made in MBIE to create a standalone Energy Markets Branch. I am also advised that values in my response to WPQ 4428 (2024) reflected FTE values, whereas the above figures are headcount values.
