6915 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Police: What asset valuations, if any, have been completed for the Minister's departments, if any, since 27 November 2023, and on what dates, if any?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that a requirement of New Zealand Public Sector accounting standards, Police has been revaluing land and buildings at least every five years or whenever the carrying amount differs materially to fair value. Land and buildings were revalued at market value as at 30 June 2024. In regard to the Serious Fraud Office (SFO), the SFO's Annual Report provides a Statement of Financial Position, which includes an asset valuation.
