Hon Penny Simmonds: I have interpreted your question to mean written advice concerning the role of StudyLink as a service of the Ministry of Social Development. I have received two reports from the Ministry of Education that briefly refers to the role of StudyLink in lending student loans, including: • 16 February 2024 – Education Report: Student Loan Scheme quarterly report, October – December. Please note some titles have been withheld as they are either sensitive in nature or still under active consideration. It is not in the public interest to release them at this time. This answer does not cover members of my office who receive a large amount of material every week. Asking them to collate that material would require substantial collation and research and prevent them from undertaking their substantive roles.
