6899 (2024). Ricardo Menéndez March to the Minister for Social Development and Employment: What, if any, community budgeting services previously funded by the Ministry of Social Development have been informed since October 2023 that their funding will not be renewed, by name of the organisation and the amount of their previous funding?

Hon Louise Upston: The Ministry of Social Development (the Ministry) currently funds 132 providers to deliver core Building Financial Capability services. I am advised that the Ministry commenced an open procurement on 8 August 2023 seeking providers to deliver these services from 1 July 2024. This procurement is a two-stage process and is still underway, so it is not appropriate to provide detail on who the unsuccessful stage one respondents are and their current contract value.
