6897 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Pacific Peoples: What is the salary band for a chief economist role in the Minister's departments, if any, if such a role or an equivalent role exists in those departments, if any?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised by the Ministry for Pacific Peoples (the Ministry) that the salary band for a chief economist role does not exist, as the Ministry has not employed a person in this type of role or equivalent position.
