6777 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Corrections: What asset valuations, if any, have been completed for the Minister's departments, if any, since 27 November 2023, and on what dates, if any?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that Corrections’ accounting policy states that land and buildings must be revalued at least once in three years unless the current carrying value of Corrections’ land and/or buildings assets is considered to differ materially from their fair value, in which case a revaluation will be undertaken. I am further advised that the latest asset valuation was undertaken with an effective date of 30 June 2023 and there has been no other asset valuations since.
