6770 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Customs: What New Zealanders' data, if any, is shared by the Minister's department, if any, with any US government department?

Hon Casey Costello: I am advised that the New Zealand Customs Service may share information, including information on New Zealand citizens, with United States government departments for various law enforcement purposes. These purposes may include, but are not limited to, the identification, investigation and disruption of border related offences and combatting transnational, serious and organised crime.
