Hon Brooke van Velden: Department of Internal Affairs: I am advised by the Department of Internal Affairs that the number of vacancies is not recorded or tracked, therefore I am unable to provide a response to this question Fire and Emergency NZ: I am however advised there were 147.1 Permanent and Fixed term full time equivalent (FTE) vacancies at Fire and Emergency as of 31 January 2026. I am advised by Fire and Emergency that data has been provided as of 31 January as this is the most readily available snapshot within the timeframe available. I am advised that there is unlikely to be material difference in the numbers between the 1 January and 31 January 2026. Film Classification Office: I am advised the Classification Office that they had no vacancies. Lotto NZ: I am advised by Lotto NZ that they had 15 vacancies.
