6695 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Conservation: How many vacancies, if any, were there in the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, as of 1 January 2026?

Hon Tama Potaka: The Department of Conservation advises me that there were 348.85 vacant permanent roles (FTE) as at 31 December 2025 (the closest reporting date to 1 January 2026).
