6625 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Statistics: How many full time equivalent (FTE) roles, if any, were there in the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, as of 1 January 2024?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that Stats NZ reports on staff numbers at the end of each month and on 31 December 2023, Stats NZ had 1,490.7 full time equivalent (FTE) employees.
