Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter October to December 2024 to achieve the expectation ‘Improve the national approach to gathering feedback and responding to and learning from complaints and health care harm, including the development of culturally-appropriate and accessible feedback channels, as well as restorative practice’ under the objective ‘3.3 Enhance processes for quality improvement and strengthen the handling of quality concerns.’ within the Government Policy Statement on Health 2024–2027?

Hon Simeon Brown: Our Government is focused on delivering timely, quality healthcare for all New Zealanders. As has been said to the Member in previous Written Parliamentary Question replies, Health New Zealand will give effect to the Government Policy Statement through the New Zealand Health Plan.
