Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter October to December 2024 to achieve the expectation ‘Develop leadership programmes, including investing in aspiring Māori health leaders and rangatahi, as well as Pacific peoples and disabled people.’ under the objective ‘4.2 Strengthen health system leadership locally, regionally and nationally.’ within the Government Policy Statement on Health 2024–2027?

Hon Simeon Brown: Our Government is focused on delivering timely, quality healthcare for all New Zealanders. As has been said to the Member in previous Written Parliamentary Question replies, Health New Zealand will give effect to the Government Policy Statement through the New Zealand Health Plan.
