Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister for the Environment: How many roles, if any, have been identified for disestablishment in the Ministry for the Environment’s Climate Mitigation and Resource Efficiency business group, resulting from the Government’s directive to reduce expenditure in the public service, listed by role title and remuneration band?

Hon Penny Simmonds: There has not yet been any consultation or organisation-wide changes implemented by the Ministry for the Environment as a result of the public sector cuts announced by the coalition Government.
