6517 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: Does he believe that the merger and subsequent service changes at Napier Health Centre is a frontline cut, if not, why not?

Hon Simeon Brown: Our Government is focused on delivering timely, quality healthcare for all New Zealanders. I am advised that the Doctors Napier and City Medical merger was a direct response to strengthening the sustainability and quality of urgent care services for the Napier community.
