6487 (2025). Hon Peeni Henare to the Minister of Defence: What inter-ministerial coordination, if any, is underway to ensure that large future defence procurement and capital expenditure is balanced with other budget priorities, and how is that process being implemented?

Hon Judith Collins: As Minister of Defence I have received a range of briefings on defence spending. As the Defence Capability Plan is subject to Cabinet consideration it would not be appropriate for me to comment further at this time.
