Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised by the Ministry for Pacific Peoples (the Ministry), that it does not hold a record of the number of vacancies as at 1 January 2023. Vacancy data is captured as a point in time workforce measure and historical snapshots are not routinely retained. Reconstructing vacancy numbers for that date would require manually recreating past organisational structures and recruitment activity.
