6437 (2025). Arena Williams to the Acting Minister of Commerce and Consumer Affairs (Grocery Sector): What actions, if any, is the new Minister taking to "remove unnecessary regulatory hurdles that discourage new entrants from entering the market"?

Hon Nicola Willis: I am actively considering options to address unnecessary regulatory barriers for new entrants in the market. To support this work, on 30 march I released a Request for Information (RFI) to identify regulatory barriers that may discourage new entrants from entering the market. The RFI is due to close on 12 May.
