6433 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Justice: How many full time equivalent (FTE) roles, if any, were there in the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, as of 1 January 2024?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: The Public Service Commission publishes workforce data on their website. I refer the Member to that here: https://www.publicservice.govt.nz/data/workforce-data I am advised that as of 01 January 2024 there were 4690.3 (FTE) roles in the Ministry of Justice.
