6431 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Justice: How many full time equivalent (FTE) roles, if any, were there in the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, as of 1 January 2023?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: The Public Service Commission publishes workforce data on their website. I refer the Member to that here: https://www.publicservice.govt.nz/data/workforce-data I am advised that as of 01 January 2023 there were 4355.3 (FTE) roles in the Ministry of Justice.
