6426 (2025). Arena Williams to the Minister of Commerce and Consumer Affairs: What, if anything, does the Minister intend to do to progress open banking in New Zealand?

Hon Scott Simpson: The Action Plan for Q1 includes a commitment to pass the Customer and Product Data Bill. Once the Bill has passed, I intend to designate the banking sector which will provide the framework for open banking.
