Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Internal Affairs: How many roles, if any, have been identified for disestablishment in the Department of Internal Affairs’ Te Haumi - Enterprise Partnerships branch, resulting from the Government’s directive to reduce expenditure in the public service, listed by role title and remuneration band?

Hon Brooke van Velden: I have been advised that a consultation document on the proposed organisational changes within the Indexing Team of the National Library, Te Haumi – Enterprise Partnerships branch, was provided to staff and the Public Service Association on 27 March 2024. Nine positions have been proposed for disestablishment. Following consultation, final decisions on the proposals will be announced to staff on 22 May 2024. Until consultation is complete and final decisions confirmed, I am not able to identify position titles and remuneration bands.
