6371 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Defence: How many vacancies, if any, were there in the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, as of 1 January 2023?

Hon Judith Collins: The information requested by the member is already in the public domain and it is published on the New Zealand Defence Force website. The Ministry of Defence does not systematically hold historic information about vacancies at a point in time. As reported to the Foreign Affairs, Defence, and Trade Select Committee, as at 31 March 2023 there were 15 vacancies.
