6356 (2025). Rt Hon Chris Hipkins to the Minister responsible for Ministerial Services: Have any investigations into former Minister Andrew Bayly’s behaviour been undertaken since 27 November 2023; if so, on what dates, and about what were the investigations undertaken?

Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: I am advised by Ministerial Services that no formal complaints have been raised by staff in Minister Bayly’s office. Therefore, no investigations have been completed. To ensure a respectful and professional work environment for all who work in the Minister’s Office, Ministerial Services checked on the wellbeing of staff following the 18 February incident. This was not an investigation.
