6344 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Conservation: How many full time equivalent (FTE) roles, if any, were there in the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, as of 1 January 2024?

Hon Tama Potaka: The Department of Conservation advises me that there were 2,735.56 permanent FTE roles (including vacancies) as at 31 December 2023 (the closest reporting date to 1 January 2024).
