6270 (2026). Lan Pham to the Minister of Education: Following Reply 3993 (2026) from the Minister for Local Government, what actions, if any, has the Ministry for Education taken to address drinking water quality at the 45 schools where 'do not drink' notices were issued in 2025?

Hon Erica Stanford: The Ministry of Education is assessing and upgrading all drinking water supply infrastructure at self-supplying schools. The Ministry also provides on-call water services guidance and support to assist schools to immediately mitigate water quality risk and resolve incidents. Schools that are required to submit repeated ‘Do Not Drink’ notices due to water quality issues are prioritised for upgrade.
