Debbie Ngarewa-Packer to the Minister for Māori Development: What processes, if any, did the Minister for Māori Development follow to assess whether he had any actual, potential, or perceived conflicts of interest in relation to funding decisions for which he was responsible under Vote Māori Development since 27 November 2023?

Hon Tama Potaka: Funding decisions under Vote Māori Development are the responsibility of Te Puni Kōkiri under delegated powers from the Minister for Māori Development in accordance with Section 58(1) and Schedule 6 of the Public Service Act 2020.
