Debbie Ngarewa-Packer to the Minister for Māori Development: How much funding, if any, has been approved by the Minister for Māori Development since 1 January 2026, including for Te Puni Kōkiri‑administered programmes, Māori housing initiatives, Māori Wardens, rangatahi development, Māori economic development, and any discretionary or contestable funds, broken down by region and electorate in which each recipient is located?

Hon Tama Potaka: Funding decisions under Vote Māori Development are made by Te Puni Kōkiri under delegated powers from the Minister for Māori Development in accordance with Section 58(1) and Schedule 6 of the Public Service Act 2020. I have made no funding approvals since 1 January 2026.
