6121 (2026). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Health: How many days since 1 January 2026, if any, has the children’s emergency department in Palmerston North Hospital been used for a purpose other than specifically for paediatric assessment and treatment, and if so, what was that purpose?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that the purpose of the Children's Emergency Department in Palmerston North Hospital is to provide a calm and safe environment for the assessment and treatment of Children.
