Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Health: How may days since 1 January 2026, if any, have child friendly facilities within the children’s emergency department at Palmerston North Hospital including but not limited to a designated bathroom and changing facilities, a kitchenette, and age-appropriate books and toys been unavailable for use by children presenting to Palmerston North Hospital’s emergency department and their family?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that the child-friendly facilities within the children's emergency department at Palmerston North Hospital have been available every day since 1 January 2026.
