6111 (2026). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Health: How many patients, if any, are waiting to receive services/treatment/consultation from the gastroenterology department at Palmerston North Hospital?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that as of 2 March 2026, the gastroenterology department at Palmerston North Hospital had 261 patients on the First Specialist Assessment waiting list, and 1,059 patients on the procedure waiting list.
