6078 (2026). Hon Phil Twyford to the Minister of Immigration: How much, if any, of the $3.39 billion that Active Investor Plus visa application are bringing into New Zealand has been transferred into New Zealand investments to date and how much does she expect Active Investment Plus visa holders will transfer to New Zealand investments in the first full year of the scheme?
Hon Erica Stanford: As at 26 February 2026, $1.18 billion has been transferred to New Zealand and invested in the economy via the Active Investor Plus visa. The majority of the remaining $2.11 billion will be invested over the next six months, in line with transfer and investment requirements set out in immigration instructions. There are currently 53 applicants who are due to complete their transfer of funds by the end of April.
