6020 (2024). Hon Barbara Edmonds to the Minister of Education: When will the Minister receive final advice on any changes their responsible agencies, if any, plans to make in response to the Initial Baseline Exercise, listed by agency and date?

Hon Erica Stanford: The Initial Baseline Exercise was announced by the Minister of Finance on 20 December 2023, with decisions being taken via Budget 2024. Final decisions on the Budget 2024 package have not yet been taken by Cabinet. Therefore, any information regarding the Initial Baseline Exercise is Budget sensitive as making this information publicly available is likely to prejudice Budget 2024 decisions. Key Budget related documents will be made available to the public through the Budget 2024 proactive release, which will occur after Budget Day on 30 May 2024. I also note that there will be some changes, particularly with regard to staffing, that are the responsibility of the Chief Executive, not the Minister.
