5999 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Transport: How many graduate positions, if any, were there in the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, between November 2023 and November 2024?

Hon Chris Bishop: I am advised that during the period of November 2023 and November 2024, the Ministry of Transport and NZTA had zero and 30 graduate positions, respectively. However, the Ministry does employ new graduates where possible on a case-by-case basis.
