5983 (2026). Dr Lawrence Xu-Nan to the Minister of Education: On what date, if any, did the Minister and/or her Office make initial contact with Debbie Francis regarding the possibility of her being a board member on the Teaching Council?

Hon Erica Stanford: The Ministry of Education (the Ministry) manages the process for Ministerial appointments to the Teaching Council on my behalf. I am advised the Ministry discussed the role with Debbie Francis on 20 January 2025.
