5980 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety: How many graduate positions, if any, were there in the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, between November 2022 and November 2023?

Hon Brooke van Velden: I am advised that WorkSafe New Zealand does not run a graduate programme but it does employ graduates as part of standard recruitment. However, it does not specifically record when a new employee hired through standard recruitment is a graduate. Therefore, I am unable to confirm how many graduates WorkSafe employed between November 2022 and November 2023.
