5977 (2026). Scott Willis to the Minister for Energy: Is the "north of a billion dollars" figure for an LNG import terminal the lower range of an estimated cost, if so, what is the higher range of the estimated cost?

Hon Simon Watts: An estimated cost range for the facility services is between $90m - $180m per year. Final costs are still subject to the current procurement process and so will not be publicly released at this time.
