5924 (2025). Dr Lawrence Xu-Nan to the Minister of Education: In response to Reply 4647 (2025), what processes, if any, did the Ministry of Education use to ensure that, for the routes that had low patronage, the students still had access to transport to their school?

Hon Erica Stanford: I am advised by the Ministry of Education that when a school bus route has been cancelled due to low patronage, eligible students can apply for a conveyance allowance to assist with their transport costs. In some cases, eligible students will be able to access an alternative school bus service instead.
