Hon Erica Stanford: My office requests a large volume of advice, reports, briefings, aide memoires, and other documents each week from agencies. It is not in the public interest for staff to be diverted from their roles to manually collate this information. I also note that not all documents commissioned will be completed, submitted, or progressed as they may be overtaken by other events. Details of papers received in a given week are provided regularly to members in response to written questions.
