5903 (2024). Hon Barbara Edmonds to the Minister for ACC: When will the Minister receive final advice on any changes their responsible agencies, if any, plans to make in response to the Initial Baseline Exercise, listed by agency and date?

Hon Matt Doocey: I have been advised that as with all agencies, savings proposals are being considered as part of Budget 2024 decision-making. No final decisions have been taken on Budget 2024 by Cabinet yet. These decisions will be announced on 30 May, and the advice underpinning them will be released publicly via the proactive release in the weeks after Budget day. With regard to Crown entities under the ACC portfolio, while neither myself nor the Government has set ACC a specific savings target, ACC has been asked to embed a culture of responsible spending to ensure value-for-money.
