5894 (2024). Hon Barbara Edmonds to the Minister for Tertiary Education and Skills: When do their responsible agencies, if any, expect to finalise their response to the Initial Baseline Exercise, listed by agency and date?

Hon Penny Simmonds: The Initial Baseline Exercise was announced by the Minister of Finance on 20 December 2023, with decisions being taken via Budget 2024. Final decisions on the Budget 2024 package have not yet been taken by Cabinet. Therefore, any information regarding the Initial Baseline Exercise is Budget sensitive as making this information publicly available is likely to prejudice Budget 2024 decisions. Key Budget related documents will be made available to the public through the Budget 2024 proactive release, which will occur after Budget Day on 30 May 2024. This is also my response to written parliamentary questions 5896, 5898, 5907 and 5908 (2024).
