Hon Ginny Andersen to the Minister of Police: Does he stand by the Government’s action plan, and their commitment to “deliver a budget that reduces wasteful spending while investing in frontline services like health, education and Police,” if so, is it his view that police housing and allowances at hard-to-fill stations are wasteful spending?

Hon Mark Mitchell: Yes, I do. In relation to the second part of the Member's question, my view is that those are operational decisions for Police.
