5779 (2025). Kahurangi Carter to the Minister for Disability Issues: What work, if any, is the Ministry of Disabled People doing on providing a pathway to support individuals with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Disorder to access Disability Support Services?

Hon Louise Upston: I am advised that the Ministry of Disabled People – Whaikaha no longer has responsibility for the policy, commissioning, funding and monitoring for Disability Support Services (DSS). This has been the responsibility of the Ministry of Social Development since September 2024.
