5764 (2024). Dr Lawrence Xu-Nan to the Associate Minister of Education: How will school property, currently owned by the Ministry of Education, be owned, leased or otherwise managed following the conversion of a state school to a charter school?

Hon David Seymour: If a state school converts to a charter school, the Ministry of Education will retain ownership of existing land and buildings. Further decisions around the management of property in relation to charter schools are still under active consideration. It is not in the public interest to release this information at this time.
