5748 (2024). Ricardo Menéndez March to the Minister of Foreign Affairs: How many New Zealand citizens or residents, if any, are serving or have served in Gaza with the Israeli Defence Force since October 2023?

Rt Hon Winston Peters: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade does not collect information on whether New Zealand citizens or residents are serving in foreign militaries. I am aware of media reports that suggest a small number of New Zealanders have served with the Israel Defence Forces.
