5718 (2026). Steve Abel to the Minister for Regional Development: Will business investment cases be required as part of applications for the ring-fenced funding for critical minerals under the Regional Infrastructure Fund?

Hon Shane Jones: Critical Minerals projects will follow the same process as all Regional Infrastructure Fund projects: application, evaluation, decision making, contracting, project delivery and loan repayment.
