5714 (2026). Steve Abel to the Minister for Regional Development: Did the Minister request feedback from individual Ministers in the Regional Development Ministerial Group prior to ring-fencing $80 million for critical minerals projects, if so, who did he receive feedback from?

Hon Shane Jones: The Regional Development Ministerial Group decided in December 2025 to ring-fence $80 million of the Regional Infrastructure Fund for critical minerals projects. Please refer to my response to WPQ 5713 (2026).
