5712 (2024). Chlöe Swarbrick to the Minister of Climate Change: What evidence, if any, has the Minister seen to hold a different view from the Parliamentary Commissioner for the Environment's chief economist that the science on methane is 'settled', such that he has commissioned a second review?

Hon Simon Watts: I have not received advice that the science of biogenic methane’s impact on climate change is settled. It is important that climate change policy is based on up to date science and evidence.
