5706 (2025). Hon Phil Twyford to the Minister of Justice: Does the Ministry of Justice have any policy on the referral of clients to Destiny Church and any of its subsidiaries including Man Up, by it or the Courts or any organisations to which it sub-contracts, and if so, what is it?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: No, I am advised the Ministry does not have any policy on contracting for service delivery with Destiny Church and any of its subsidiaries including Man Up. All service providers who seek to deliver services funded by the Ministry of Justice participate in applicable procurement and contracting processes. All providers contracted by the Ministry of Justice require an Outcome Agreement for service delivery, with applicable clauses which outline any subcontracting arrangements that may be in place.
