5698 (2025). Hon Dr Duncan Webb to the Minister of Justice: How many vacancies are there at the Electoral Commission at the present time?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: I am advised that at the end of January 2025, the Electoral Commission had 27 vacancies – 20 permanent roles and 7 fixed terms. Of the 20 permanent roles, the Commission has filled 4 of these vacancies with people due to start in the coming weeks.
