5696 (2026). Hon Dr Duncan Webb to the Minister of Justice: Under the proposed amendments to the Summary Offences Act, will Police be able to arrest individuals for rough sleeping or attempting to inhabit a public space, if they have been served multiple move-on notices for different areas and have complied with each notice by moving elsewhere, and are not behaving in a disorderly or threatening manner?
